MPB Uniform Customization & Child Safeguarding Policy
Mornington Peninsula Badminton Inc. maintains clear uniform guidelines to protect member privacy and comply with Badminton Victoria / Badminton Australia tournament standards:
Child Safety & Media Privacy: Because club sessions, tournaments, and social events are regularly photographed for club promotions, all Under-18 junior apparel must display First Name Only (e.g., Alex or Sam). Full names or identifying nicknames are prohibited to ensure minors cannot be identified online.
Approved Formats: Recognised abbreviations of given names are acceptable (e.g., Ben for Benjamin). Non-name text, handles, or novelty nicknames will not be approved.
Committee Vetting: All orders submitted through the S-Trend portal are reviewed by the MPB committee before production. Any non-compliant custom text will be corrected in consultation with the account holder before printing.
